NūrRing Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NūrRing mobile application and related services ("NūrRing", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using NūrRing, you agree to these Terms.

NūrRing is a dhikr tracking app that may include account features, reminders, social features, Qibla tools, optional AR Qibla functionality, and optional Bluetooth ring connectivity. NūrRing is not a medical device and does not provide medical, mental health, or professional religious advice.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You may need an account to use some parts of NūrRing. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account details up to date, and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account. If you believe your account has been used without permission, please contact us as soon as possible.
NūrRing is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children.
2. Licence to Use NūrRing
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use NūrRing for your own personal, non-commercial use on a device you own or control.
This licence does not transfer any ownership rights in the app, its branding, or its content to you.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from NūrRing, except where permitted by law.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from NūrRing, except where applicable law allows it.
- Use NūrRing in any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or misleading way.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users.
- Spam, exploit, disrupt, or interfere with NūrRing or its systems.
- Attempt to manipulate streaks, counts, leaderboards, subscriptions, or other app features through unauthorized means.
- Use bots, scripts, modified clients, or other unauthorized tools with NūrRing.
4. Social Features
NūrRing may include features such as usernames, friends, groups, and leaderboards. If you use these features, some information may be visible to other users depending on your settings and how the feature works.
You are responsible for how you interact with other users. We may limit, suspend, or remove access to social features or accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or other users may be at risk.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
NūrRing may offer free and paid features, including recurring subscriptions such as NūrRing Pro. Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the app store or platform from which you downloaded the app, such as Google Play.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You are responsible for reviewing the pricing, billing frequency, and renewal terms shown at the time of purchase.
You are responsible for managing or cancelling your subscription through your app store account settings. Deleting the app or deleting your NūrRing account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Refunds, if available, are generally handled under the policies of the relevant app store or platform provider.
6. Free Features, Ads, and Changes
NūrRing may include a free tier, paid features, advertising-supported functionality, or feature limits that differ between user tiers.
We may add, remove, update, or change features, integrations, eligibility rules, and supported functionality from time to time for product, legal, operational, technical, security, or business reasons.
7. Device, Bluetooth, Camera, and Qibla Features
Some NūrRing features may rely on device capabilities or permissions, including Bluetooth, notifications, location, sensors, or camera access.
Optional features such as Bluetooth ring connectivity, Qibla tools, compass features, and AR Qibla are provided for convenience and personal practice. Their accuracy or availability may be affected by device limitations, sensors, connectivity, permissions, environmental conditions, or third-party hardware behavior.
8. Intellectual Property
NūrRing, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, icons, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited licence granted above, these Terms do not give you any ownership or proprietary rights in NūrRing.
9. Third-Party Services
NūrRing may rely on third-party services or platforms for things such as authentication, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, advertising, subscriptions, app distribution, and hardware connectivity.
Those third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by law.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to NūrRing or parts of NūrRing if we reasonably believe that:
- You have breached these Terms.
- You have misused the app or harmed other users.
- Your use creates legal, security, or operational risk.
- We are required to do so for legal or compliance reasons.
You may stop using NūrRing at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data through our Account Deletion and Data Deletion page.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NūrRing is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that NūrRing will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, or compatible with every device or configuration.
NūrRing is intended as a dhikr tracking and wellbeing support tool. It is not a substitute for medical, mental health, legal, or professional religious advice.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising out of or in connection with your use of NūrRing.
To the extent we are found liable to you, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to NūrRing or these Terms will be limited to the amount you paid for NūrRing in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £50 if no such amount was paid.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Changes to NūrRing and These Terms
We may update NūrRing and these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If you continue to use NūrRing after updated Terms take effect, you will be treated as having accepted the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to NūrRing are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory local law applies otherwise.
